For Esther Dijst I did the art direction and design of the identity and website of her new S1 gallery. Since nothing was clear yet for Esther Dijst we started with a very blank slate. What was needed in print work for the gallery and what identity style fitted the gallery best? It was a challenge to create a logo that wouldn’t interfere with the art but at te same time could stand on it’s own and make an impression. I also created and designed a brand new website which needed to expand with the galleries future expositions and artists. It needed to give an overview of the past expositions and artists, and also give clear and accessible information about the current exposition and where to find the gallery. It was a challenge to create a logo that would't interfere with the art of the gallery and the same time stand on it’s own and make an impression.
I still continue to keep the website of S1 Gallery up to date and whenever necessary I’ll design the print work for new expositions.
